Hi! I am the original owner of a Beomaster 2000 Type 2913. I have noticed that the lid pops up quickly instead of the slow opening I remember from when it was newer. I understand you can apply hinge damping grease (on order from Danish Sound Parts) but my question is how and where? I have removed the top portion of the 2000 (contains hinge and control panel) but other than the far left and right hinge (where it appears aluminum), I’m not sure where else to apply the grease. Any ideas? The service manual doesn’t mention anything about it. Thanks!
