I just got a Beolink 7000 which have been a childhood dream for me as that really impressed me with the changing display and the motor function.
But as it is not new anymore (the label on the charger says 1989, can that be true?) it has some flaws.
One of them is that one of the battery charging contacts is corroded on both the remote and the charger (it is charging though).
I am wondering if this could just be due to bad contact over the years of use, or if I should be worried about leaking battery or Capacitor acid?
As the main battery is placed lower than the contacts I would not have that as my main suspect, and I can not see traces of battery acid in the battery compartment (the battery should be new according to the seller).
So my question is wheether the backup coincell battery or a known suspect capacitor is placed above the charging contacts and could have leaked down on it?
