I own 4 Beolab 3500 I purchased directly from Denmark 2 decades ago. They were gently used and have been in storage for many years. I tried to put them back to work with my iPhone using a bluetooth device I bought in England, but I haven’t been able to get them to play. Rather than keeping them in my attic, I wonder if anyone could used them. I have the original boxes. I live in South Texas USA. If interested, please email. Thanks.
25 August 2024 at 02:42 #58613Hello
Can anyone recommend a bluetooth device I can purchase to allow music from my iPhone to play in my Beolab 3500 and Beolab 2000 speakers?
Thank you

You need a Beo4 or other B&O remote to set the BL3500 in Aux mode. Note there are also different versions depending if you BL3500s are Mark 1 or Mark 2.
I have found this info elsewhere on the old forum:- if the serial number is 19343452 or below, it’s a Mark 1. If the serial number is above 19343452, it’s a Mark 2.

Thanks for your advice. Which cable do you use to connect the BL3500 to the Arylic S10?
I have a beo4 remote. Thank you

Mind the addtl PIN7 for ground for the mk1, so gnd is on 5+3+7
26 September 2024 at 21:01 #59437Check if you have Mk1 or mk2 BLs, you can also shop the right cable if you don‘t like the DIY approach
