Hello there,
This is probably a known topic, and I’ve done lots of searching around the web but I’ve been unable to resolve it.
I recently bought a pair of nice Beolab 9s. Looks great and sounds even better. But, I’m struggling with humming while playing music. At lower volumes the humming really ruines the experience as it’s quite noticeable. This is my setup and what I’ve tried.
I have connected the 9s to an Argon Stream 3, from Powerlink to one RCA-plug, on each speaker. Cables are Mk3, brand new from BO. All power is connected to the same socket. This is humming a lot.
I’ve also tried same cable, but with a mini-jack adapter at the end, and connected it to my MacBook. This is actually the setup that is the most quiet, but not at a level where it should be. Also, I can hear a noticeable difference when removing the charger from the MacBook, as it’s more quiet.
Does anyone have any experience on this and what I can donnext? I honestly thought the active Beolabs would be more or less plug and play

I replaced the cables, no difference. Turns out it wat the streamer, Argon, that was the source of the humming. I replaced it for a Sonos Connect, and everything is perfect.
