I’m a new member so forgive me if this has been covered before. I’m trying to find out about my late husband’s hi fi system. I have a pair of Beolab 8000, 6802 speakers. I’ve managed to find the serial number 16013449. I would like to know when it was made and is it MK1 or 2. I’ve found confusing information. Many thanks

    Dear Daphne,

    I get that.
Your Beolab 8000’s were manufactured in 2002.
With this serial number, they are MK1. (serial number 1699 2475 and above are MK2)

    Best,
