BRONZE MemberHi Folks,
I am looking to improve the height speakers on my home theatre setup – currently using Gallo Nucleus Micro’s – but their low end is far too constrained (need support from 200Hz down roughly).
I happen to have cabinets of the right height and location in the room to place a pair of Beolab 6000 or 8000 on top of them, and the result would place the tweeter at the right height and angular location for my purpose.
BUT – The current speakers are on mountings that allow me to point the tweeter at the listening position, with the Beolabs, all I can do is rotate them, there is no vertical tilt, so I am dependent on their dispersion pattern, particularly downwards – and I have a feeling that this would be a problem.
Has anyone done dispersion measurements on the 6000’s or 8000’s (klippel/spinorama) – or have some information about their designed dispersion?
Thanks
