For two weeks now I have a set of 50’s as a replacement for my beloved 5’s. However, I experience a strange phenomenon. The front covers make annoying vibrating sounds with certain bass at high volume. The woofer gives so much air displacement, that in my opinion it cannot get out. Seems like a construction error. Does anyone have experience with this by chance (and a solution). Of course I also informed my dealer, but I have not heard anything from them yet. B&o support also refers to the dealer.

I had the same problem until my dealer changed the woofers… now everything is quiet and precise

          Hi,

I would like to test my own 50s.

May you tell me some titles on which you observed the problem?

          Kind regards,

          Yann.

            Hi,

Well, my dealer replaced the front covers and that solved the problem…altought at some very high volume levels, I can still hear some vibration. Try  Way down deep from Jennifer Warnes or See mi yah from Rhythm & Sound.

              Thanks fot the tiles.

              I’ll check them.

What kind of covers do you have? Fabric, wood or aluminium?

              Kind regards,

              Yann.

                Hi,

I have the fabric ones. Love the aluminium ones, but quite expensive..

                Regards, Stefan.
