Beolab 5 wanted: What should you look out for when buying?

Hi B&O lovers,

what should you look out for when buying a pair of Beolab 5’s?

I know from a reliable dealer that due to the speakers age there’s a very high chance to have an overhaul or repair required.

Decided to get a pair and my minimum requirements:

– non smoking household
– flawless condition of the aluminium parts
– MK2 software?
– no rattling sounds from the bass chassis
– no digital strange noises

What else do you recommend to inspect before buying?

I wouldn’t buy a pair that hasn’t had the chassis refurbished.
where are you located? I am considering selling my pair.
