Hi,
I own my Beolab 5’s for many years now and love them.
But since a couple of days 1 of the speakers shows strange behavior:
It started with this one speaker switching off during use (connected to an Eclipse): small pop, led turned red. After taking the power off shorty and on again, the speaker behaved fine again.
The next day, the same speaker did not turn on turning on (while other speaker did). I took the power off again, turned power on, reset the speaker (holding calibration bottom for long time), re-calibrated the speaker. After that, seemed to work again.
However, the next day, the speaker did turn on, worked well, but did not turn off after use (led stayed green). After taking power off/on, seems to work fine again.
I left the power of the entire night now, but I am sure something is wrong.
Any advise on what could be wrong?
Any advise on next steps (besides contacting B&O)?
Thanks in advance for all your thoughts an ideas,
Dennis

The problem re-occurred a couple of time and is at the dealer now. Hope to hear back soon and hope to have it repaired soon. The dealer did express that it can take a lot of time to get spare parts…
