Hi guys! Just looking for some advice here please.
Regarding my Beolab 5s, I noticed twice now that one of the speakers is randomly entering into calibration mode, and going through the calibration sequence.
This is happening without any prompting, without the touch sensor being pressed as required to perform calibration.
Working well otherwise.
Has anyone else experienced such an issue with their Beolabs? Is this perhaps normal behaviour in certain cases?
Cheers for any advice guys! Absolutely love the Beolabs still, never liked a pair of speakers more.Cheers
7 January 2025 at 02:22 #62371I had the same problem here with one of my BL5.
Solved it by “regluing” the top sensor in place. It was too sensitive to the touch and when the ambient temperature was warmer, it was activating by itself due to thermal expansion of the aluminum plate.
Just open the top plate (lift and twist), heat it with a hair dryer and lose the sensor. Then let it cool down and put the sensor back.
Two years already and the problem never came back here…
