Beogram CD X repair right side and hinge

Hi

I have a  Beogram CD X that I just changed the left side hinge ( Thanks to Beoparts ) I didn’t get a photo of right side looking from the CD player. Took the photos but missed that side. Does the plate (the one lifting up the CD when the lid opens)  lifting shaft go inside the white plastic rod or push against the bottom ? Looks like it could go either way. Anyone out there have one apart or have a photo ?
