BRONZE MemberAnyone have any ideas on why a Beogram CD 5500 wont play?
CD tray opens closes smoothly, “tracks” show on the front, but won’t play or show track numbers when play is pressed on unit or remote.
Could it be a dirty laser lens, Capacitor, or drive belt?
Thanks,
P.

And there is a convenient kit for the servo board for exactly this.

Just cleaning the CD lens, only took a few minutes then my white Beogram CD5500 sprung back into life.
