Hi Everyone,
I am gradually bringing a 7000 system back to life after years of disuse. When I play an LP on my Beogram 7000 turntable it sounds distorted, as though the cartridge is damaged or otherwise misaligned. Is there a way to adjust the tonearm weight to see if that’s the issue? Visually, the cartridge appears to be normal.
Any feedback is much appreciated.
Best regards, Dan

But check your stylus first. It could be dirty. That’s one of the most common causes for distortion together with bad cantilever suspension.Martin
