BRONZE MemberWhile I was adjusting the tone arm location (using the black dial on the carrier you turn with a screw driver) the plastic arm broke on the carrier that holds the carriage cord end and spring. In reading the forum topics I learned about using a small threaded bolt/washer/nut to replace it and have done so. Now I need to re-thread the carriage cord which I have done using the repair manual instructions. My question is the manual does not show the black round stud next to the pully wheel. Does the cord go inside or outside the stud? See picture for the way I have installed it. Is this correct? Would appreciate if someone could post a photo of the correct location of the carriage cord.
