I have a BG5005 w/MMC5 cartridge. Sometimes when ‘Play’ is selected the tonearm section moves over the beginning of the record however the arm does not place itself on the record surface. Instead, the arm just stays in the air. Selecting ‘stop’ and the arm then moves back into its resting place and the platter ceases spinning. Intermittently the arm does drop and then plays the record just fine, then returns once it reaches the end of the record side. Does anyone know of a fix for this problem? Thank you- hifisoup
