Beogram 4002 type 5513

Hi all,

New poster here, just starting out on my B&O adventures! I have long been enamoured with the Beogram 400x series and am finally doing something about that and buying one.

I am considering buying one from a restorer in the USA who has a type 5513 for sale. I am in the UK and wanted to know if this would run on our 50hz frequency? The restorer seems very very knowledgeable and tells me it will, the service manual also suggests it will but as this was a USA model that does give me cause to hesitate. Any advice from experienced B&O veterans would be very gratefully received!

Have now had this answered and been told all versions of the 4002 will work on 50 or 60hz.

Couple of things to consider…….import duty, cost of delivery and possible damage during shipping…..
