BRONZE MemberHello.I recently bought a Beogram 1202 in excellent cosmetic condition as defective, but I discovered that after some minor adjustments it is working. But it has a very annoying problem that I can’t solve and is driving me crazy: when I press the lift button, sometimes the mechanism works and sometimes it doesn’t. When it doesn’t work, the light comes on and the motor runs, but the mechanism doesn’t activate the tonearm and I can’t turn it off using the button, only by unplugging it. I’ve already disassembled it, cleaned all possible contacts and lubricated everything I could, and I don’t know what else to do. Could it be the relay capacitor?
I would appreciate any help in solving this problem.
Thank you very much.

BRONZE MemberHi
Probably a problem around the block that contains electro magnet.
Metal part could be a little bit bent or the plastic to much used.
Remove it entry moving the levers (the two in black) and see if it blocks in certain positions (try not touch electrical power of course)… you can also unpluged from power and clean it with dedicated electronique fluids.
When puttin it back, you can adujst it turning the black part (which appear one the other side) with a screwdriver
Sorry for my poor english.
