BRONZE MemberHello,
I got in my hand a Beogram 1100 which needed a bit of love. Mechanically, I now have it mostly sorted, including replacing bearings in the motor.
The only issue I still have, is that the speed change for 45s is not working.
I am having a bit of an issue understading what is it that is supposed to happen.
If I have it right: Idler wheel (102) is supposed to contact a different part of the stepped pulley (108). I am guessing the pulley is supposed to move down to allow for this. Or the idler wheel move up.
But I am not sure how.
Does it have to do with wire arm (144) that’s connected to a spring (111) in the motor assembly? I might have that misaligned or something? The arm I think moves fine but doesn’t do anything as far as I can tell. The pickup mechanics on the 45s and 33s are fine, it goes down exactly where it should on both cases (unlike my 4002, which is in dire need of alignment, I have to admit)
