The CDX 2 is now fine, so here is another “almost there” project.ย ย Beocord 8004.
Installedย new belts, new LEDs in display, ( VERY small) , and gave it a good cleaning.ย ย When play is pressed,ย it only plays for approx. 1 second in both channels, then no music.
Then REWIND a couple of seconds,ย then it play again for 1 sec.
Tried several tapes, same result.ย Also recorded a tape on another tapedeck.
I think maybe it needsย ย demagnetization, but I dont know.
Does anyone have a tipย ย ?
And how to do the demagnetizationย ย ?
