I can’t work out how to remove the turntable and the service manual doesn’t help.  I’m sure I’m missing something really obvious.  I think I’ve got all the screws out.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

For me pressing down on one end of the turntable makes the other end come up, so that I can grab it. Also I have the same Beogram 2000 5821 and I have troubles with the tone arms up and down movement. Does yours move freely up and down when playing? Could you send me a video of the tonearm mechanism? Specifically the „black box“ which holds the end of the tone arm? Thanks in advance

I finally got the platter off. The trick is to drop it on the side from about 6 inches 🤣.

So the platter is held on by 3 small pieces of double sided tape. Once it’s off you can access all the screws to gain access to the mechanism.

I wouldn’t recommend dropping it, I did it by accident but at least it solved the problem.
