    Hi RafH,

    No pic. is attached.

But as silver member you can download the service manual from the main page. And as I remember the tape mechanism is the same as the BC9000.

    Dear Steffen,

    I appreciate your prompt response.

I attempted to download the service manual from the main page, but unfortunately, there is no Beocenter 8000 service manual available. I downloaded a service manual from the Beomanuals website; however, I noticed that the tape mechanism in both the BC9000 and BC8000 differs slightly from the one I have. Based on my understanding, I have Version 2 (please refer to the attached pictures – hopefully, I will manage to add them this time) with a shorter belt in comparison to Version 1.

    Thank you,

    Raf124

    Raf:

Here’s the diagram for version 2 of the mech.

Let me know if you are able to successfully change the belts.

I’m having problems myself. After belt change, transport still doesn’t function properly.

    Derek,

I appreciate your prompt response and the diagram you provided. However, I’ve successfully resolved the issue on my own. I hope you were able to address the issue on your end as well.

Upon installing new belts, I also encountered a problem with the tape mechanism. After a the  inspection, I discovered that a plastic lever was broken. I took the initiative to rebuild it as closely to the original as possible. Since then, the tape mechanism has been functioning as intended.

    Best regards,

    Raf
