My BC 9500 has stopped receiving radio stations.
With aerials attached, it sweeps both am and fm bands but won’t register any stations.
With manual tuning all I get is static.
Any ideas where to start looking?
Thanks,
Derek

Measure DC and AC voltage between Beocenter to Ground. Measure mains Ground terminal to outer antenna plug casing to ground.
Maybe defect power supply… i found two BC 9500 with 190V from antenna to Ground. That killed the radio unit… 190V IS NO FUN!!!
It is high impedance, it won’t kill you, but you can feel it. But it kills radio electronics…
It’s a small defect cap (10nF …?) in the power supply used for noise suppressor

Problem solved.
Cold solder joint on connector connector to the shielded cable for the freq. oscillator from radio board to the MPU board.
