BRONZE MemberTake out the cassette and turn on FF and Rev. Feel how much torque the spindles get. Probably not a lot. These spindles are friction limited in some way, so that a friction happens in a desired place, and not on the motor belt. Usually, a rubber ring is meant to transfer power to these spindles, and it’s slipping because the rubber is hardened. Youll find it by watching the mechanism.
