BRONZE MemberMy recently acquired Beocenter 8000 is in good working condition and while it sounds pretty good through the RL 1000 speakers that came with it, I’d quite like to add a sub-woofer. I have a couple of sub-woofers already including a Cambridge Audio Minx X301 and a Bose powered Acoustimass system with a couple of their small loudspeakers. Both of these require line-level inputs and I’m wondering if anyone can comment on the use of one of the many speaker to line output converters that are available – the last thing I want to do is damage the output stage of the amplifier.
