Hi I recently purchased a Beocenter 7700 with some issues, one of which is the magnetic microswitch which detects the record on the platter, it was taking up to 20 minutes to operate.
I have now removed this and would like to know if there is a replacement switch available or should I open it up and attempt a repair. I have tried contact cleaner to no avail, any advice would be most welcome. Regards Gordon

Update, managed to find a source for the glass encapsulated microswitch which sits in the switch and is actuated by the magnet on the end of the arm once the record is placed on the turntable, now fitted and working.
