BeoCenter 2600 tape speed control?

Hi all!

I have just tested my BeoCenter 2600 tape deck, but i notice that all my calibration tapes are playing a little too fast (3000 Hz becomes 3015 Hz)
I have searched through the entire service manual a few times but I haven’t found a description on how to adjust the tape speed.
My grandpa, a former B&O salesman told me that the tape transport speed cannot be adjusted on decks like these.

Do any of you know if this is possible? If so, how?

You are dealing with an AC Motor running off of the mains voltage, therefore there would only be mechanical speed adjustments and they would be in the manual. I would check that all of your play adjustments as per the manual are correct as there may be insufficient tension. All the above also assume you are not trying to use a 50Hz unit on 60Hz.
