Hi. I recently inherited my fathers 2200 and it plays beautifully. But the turntable makes a ticking noise which is very evident when playing a quiet record. B&O tech in Barcelona tell me they cannot fix due to parts not being available. Any guidance? ย Thank you.

    What parts are not available?

Check if the motor bushing touches the metal bracket.
If it does – replace the motor mounts.

If the motor itself is noisy, it must be taken apart and repaired (most can be)
    – or replaced, and aย good condition used original motor would be the way forward in that case.
