Bang & Olufsen / Samsung Serenata Displays full of stripes: Repair possible?

Hi,

both of my Seranatas are showing multiple stripes on the display when powered on.
This is a common problem of these phones sadly and a shame in terms of device quality.
Is repairing possible? Is it a simple solution like cable replacement or a more complex one e.g. a rotten component?
