    Hi all,

I just came across a book that I believe is from the early 80s. I acquired it from among the original paperwork from a BM8000 system with SC80.

I cant find any mention of this book online, and I want to make sure it is known to the people here as it talks at length on B&O philosophy and character. I think it is a great find and really highlights where B&O has come from, and what makes them so special in the market.

It also talks at length about each component of the 8000 system – not a user guide or specifications, but “a lively examination of how creative men can place today’s most interesting technology into the service on music.”.

    Enjoy

Wow good stuff! Looks like you have some things I don’t have. The original buyers only purchased the BM8000, BG8000, BC8002, and SC80 cabinet, so I have the paperwork for all of those. No info on speakers. From what I can tell these systems are pretty hard to find in the US, especially with paperwork.IMG_5371

I wonder how Jens Bang may be related to Peter Bang.

An interesting feature of the tuner on the BM8000 is its ability to follow the FM signal as it naturally drifts around its standard frequency.  I wonder if all FM tuners nowadays do this?

    Thank you for scanning this.
