Hi Steve
the same can be done with BL3000, 4500 or 5000.
Furthermore a MCL2P or BeoLink Passive or Beoamp 1 can be used with Beosound’s which only have PL out to use these Penta’s or BL3000/4500/5000 this way.

GOLD MemberI do respect the commitment that people have to these speakers 😁
I would not call this a ‘repair’….it is simply a description of how to use a (B&O) speaker, that had an external Beolab module, which failed.
Back in the yesteryears I did that with my 5000’s – I used a Beolink Passive to power them.
Some might still know that Peter Pan was a huge proponent for the Pentas.
He had a pair connected to an ICEPower module for many years (he even had a spare set i the basement….just in case).MM
