BRONZE MemberDear Forum. Do some of You know if it’s possible to join 2 Beolab 7’s to one hdmi arc Audio extractor? I already got the 7-2 linked to my LG OlED and today I came across a 7-4. Is it possible to have both speakers running in the same setup? Some special y splitter for that eg. Female to 2 male. I know it may sound crazy🤪
thanks in advance.
My B&O Icons:6 May 2025 at 19:29 #65465GOLD MemberHi BOJ, if you manage to play from the LG to the 7-2 (and have a trigger signal somehow), this should not be a problem. Is this not something that you could use? https://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/26-129-powerlink-compatible-splitter-doubler-2-fully-wired-powerlink-compatible-sockets.html#/20-length-02m. Plug the male end in the 7-2 and both the source and the 7-4 in one of the female ends. How well it sounds will also depend on how loud these two speakers play relatively – you will have no separate volume control to have them ‘matched’.

BRONZE MemberHi Johan.
Thanks for Your insight. I had thought about the Y-split cable. But my concerns seem to be the same as Yours. I can adjust the volume on my 7-2 using my Apple Remote.
But what do You guess will happen when also connecting a 7-4? Furthermore does the 7-4 need a trigger cable for it self, or is it enough using the one for the 7-2?My B&O Icons:7 May 2025 at 18:43 #65490GOLD MemberHi BOJ, the splitter is fully wired, so if one speaker gets it, both speakers will get it and turn on/off simultaneously. And also change volume simultaneously! But will one speaker ‘overshadow’ the other? Maybe just try :-).
