I had a feeling it would be something to do with HDMI protection, thanks. I only really want one of the four HDMI inputs to be available to listen to from the link room speaker (my PC), so I’m wondering, if I get hold of an HDMI audio extractor with a digital coax out, then connect that to the BS3 and choose that as the sound input for that particular AV input, that might work. Those extractors are available cheap so I might get one and try it as an experiment.
