BRONZE MemberHi there!
Im Currently trying to add the Tapo C230 into my BLI System, but I encounter the following error: “Error creating resource: Couldnt GetSnapshotURI. Unknown error”
This happens as soon as I try to add the camera into a zone of mine. It still shows up in the BL App and I can enter the account Info for the ONVIF without problems. I Also once accessed the Camera through the ONVIF-Device-Manager. There it worked out fine. I also talked to Khimo about it but they “dont have a Tapo camera to test it further”. He also wrote this:
I analyzed the packet capture, and it looks like the camera is not configured for picture retrieval (snapshots), which is required by the BLI ONVIF driver.
From the Tapo documentation, it looks like this can be configured as “24/7 capture” (but I’m really a complete ignorant in Tapo-related stuff).
Technically, the ONVIF operation that requests the snapshot URIs returns “action not supported”, at this point the BLI aborts the communication. We will check the ONVIF driver to show something more user friendly.
This doesnt really help me any further with my problem as far as I know.
Does anyone have any tips for me?
