Hi everyone,
I’m working on a BeoLink Gateway (aluminium version) connected via MasterLink to a BeoSystem 3, and I’m running into a problem capturing Beo4 commands.
Setup :
– BeoLink Gateway (firmware: 1.5.4.557)
– BeoSystem 3 (connected via MasterLink)
– I also tested with a BeoSound 3200 as Audio Master
– BLGW connected to the network and integrated with Home Assistant
What works:
– The BLGW detects the MasterLink products correctly (BS3 and BS3200).
– Source changes from the BS3 are reported to Home Assistant.
– The MasterLink bus seems active (I see integration protocol messages in the BLGW log).
What doesn’t work :
– The MasterLink Monitor shows no events when pressing buttons on the Beo4.
– Because of this, I cannot capture Beo4 commands to trigger macros on the BLGW.
I’ve already tried:
– Setting BS3 to V.OPT 2
– Setting BS3200 to A.OPT 2
– Restarting the whole ML bus
– Re-capturing products in BLGW
– Testing with and without the Audio Master
So far the behaviour is the same: products are detected, but no Beo4 events appear in the ML monitor.
I’m starting to wonder if this could be related to the very old firmware (1.5.4) on my BLGW.
My questions :
– Has anyone seen a similar issue with BS3 + BLGW where Beo4 commands are not visible on MasterLink?
– Does anyone happen to have a newer BLGW firmware (2.x or 3.x) that they could share, or know where it can still be obtained?
Any hints or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
