I have a pair of RL140 that came with a BeoSystem 5500. One of the speakers needs new surrounds on the woofers. It is missing one screw that holds the back on, so I assume it’s been opened up before. The other speaker is missing most of the screws holding it together, but the woofer surrounds have been redone. In addition to the missing screws, it’s missing all the damping blocks.
Any recommendations on what to use for a replacement for the damping blocks? In the manual, I see they’re referred to as “rock-wool blocks”. The same stuff that’s used for home insulation?
