BRONZE Member…apologies for this being covered so many time previously, however brain is on a Spring go slow so please for give me 😉
So I want to connect a Beocenter 9300 to my NL network so I can get it started via my BLI and the BLI app.
For this do I need the ML/MCL Converter (type 1652) and then NL/ML Converter (type 1790), I guess I won’t need IR eyes for either converters as using the bli app?
Are there any option programming required on the Beocenter 9300 (Room 1), and anything particular to pick on the NL/ML Convertor as well?
Can I get the Beocenter6-26 in another room already on an ML/NL Converter to select the CD or Tape from the Beocenter 9300 once it’s all plumbed in and if so what would I select on the ML/NL Converter?
Room 1 – CAT7
Avant 55, x4 BL17
Beocenter 9300 (MCL/ML -> ML/NL)?
Room 2 -CAT7
BeoCenter 6-26 + ML/NL Converter
Other rooms -CAT7
Assortment of NL Beovisions or NL Beosound 2s

GOLD MemberHello benjnz,
I use a 1611 converter to go from DataLink to MasterLink. You will not need IR eyes (the 9300 has one for local usage).
The option setting of the 9300 can be ‘0’ when you have no speakers attached, and then the BLC can be an audio slave.
In the menus of the other BLCs (ML/NL converters) you can set what the CD command in that ML chain does.
Hope these remarks are helpful! I will be a bit of puzzling always :-).
Good luck!
