BRONZE MemberHi all and Season’s Greetings!
My Beogram 4000 has been working very nicely in 2025, needing only minor adjustments here and there. I have noticed that on tonearm drop, it takes the stylus a few attempts to locate the ‘in-groove’ causing audible ‘bop’ sound 3 or 4 times. Also, the tonearm and sensor arm get quite close together forming a near V shape and then the arms correct themselves after several rotations. There doesn’t seem to be any disturbance in the music at the start of play and throughout. It just doesn’t operate as smoothly as I think it could.
