BRONZE MemberEmbarking on a repair of a 1980s BeoMaster 2000, Type 2913 for the US market. Two hinge-related questions:
- The left plastic bracket that lifts the Programming panel has broken off (the part that extends into the machine itself.) In the attached photo I’ve fished it out of the bottom of the machine; normally it mounts to the underside of the metal lid.I’m not sure this was ever available as a spare part; the closest I can see in the service manual is the whole upper Programming area, #1005 Sekundær betjeningspanel FM-AM.I suppose the next best move is to use plastic epoxy to try to get it back together – or find a parts BeoMaster I can take one from.
- I recall @Dillen mentioning a while back that the hinge springs need to be replaced with stronger ones if the system was placed on a wall bracket. Curious if anyone knows that part number, or if any generic spring will do?
Thanks!
