I have a Beoplay V1 TV and a BeoSound 9000 CD player standing next to each other. They share the Beolink speakers via an Almando Multiplay switch, but they have no ML/NL connection with each other.
I have a Beo5 remote with the programming SW. Is there a way I can target remote control commands to dedicated systems?
Example:
If I press “TV”, the command should go to the Beoplay V1.
If I press “CD”, the command should go to the BeoSound 9000.
If I rotate the volume wheel, the command should go to both.Thank you very much, Stefan

What I know is, that it will be possible – and much easier – if you’d use the NL/ML Converter.

Assuming that you do not use the 2 product simultaneously (I know nothing about the Almando product):
1: Create a zone for the 9000 and another one for the V1
2: Move the V1 zone under the 9000 one, so that the 2 zones are considered to be in the same room.
3: Add the 9000 and it’s speakers to the 9000 zone
3b: Set the 9000 to option 1 (right-click on the product’s picture to get the sub-menu, it might be the case as there are 2 sub-zones in the setup)
4: Add the V1 in it’s zone
4b: Set it to option 1
5: Add the logos, etc for each product and go to following screens.
Then, you can pass from one system to another by changing the zone.
Regards,
Yann.

GOLD MemberIt sounds to me like both the TV and the BS9000 are set to option 2 (receiving both audio and video commands). If you change both to option 1 the V1 will only react to video commands and the BS9000 only to audio commands.
I think that would be the simplest in this setup
I dont know how to do the option settings with a BEO5, but if you have a BEO4 or s Beolink 1000 I can post the instructions

Other point: I would delete or hide the sources of the 9000 in the V1 screen and vice-versa.
