BRONZE MemberHello! I’m stumped with an issue with my Beogram CDX, as soon as it’s powered on, the disc illumination lamp comes on even with the lid closed, which suggests to me the set ‘thinks’ the lid is in fact open. I’ve checked the connector on to the display PCB from the motor control PCB and it all looks good. Disconnecting it makes no difference, it’s as if the uP is seeing an open lid signal continuously.
I’m fairly sure the fault is either on the motor control PCB or the control and display PCB, but I’m a bit lost! All I’ve done is replace the 220u cap on the motor control PCB (the old Philips cap was measuring 44u!) but now I’m stuck.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Chris
