BRONZE MemberIn the “settings menu” on the screen of the BS5 I see: (translated into Enlish from Dutch)
Hostname: BeoMaster
Location: empty
IP-address: 192.168.1.119
customers connected: 0
Networkconnection: No
Bonjour-status: registration accomplished
Status Musicserver: busy
Name shared map: BM-SHARE$
Username: BM-User
My questions:
- “Why is the networkconnection indicated as “no”?
- Why is the status of the Musicserver on “busy”? Already for 2 months….
Thanks for replying if you are familiar with these settings.

The ‘Installation guide’ does have a section for ‘Testing the network connection’.
For the MUSIC SERVER status: maybe you can switch off (disable) the MUSIC SERVER, and see if the system still says that it is busy? In case you have it switched on, it could mean that the system is busy (or stuck) rebuilding the server, or just busy executing its server duty? Mine says DISABLED.

with large collections it will take a long time to complete!
so I would first switch of MOTS (if applicable) and see what happens.
And changes in the music collection or every restart interrupt the completion of MOTS.
