I have found circuits of part of this unit in many places but nothing that shows all the circuits or service information.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

The fault with mine is the 12v line is at 34v!

    Hi,

As a silver member, so you have access to the manuals available in the “products” section of the website.

If the manual is missing, I suggest that you ask for it in a post in the “Welcome” topic.

This topic is monitored by the administrator of the site.

    Kind regards,

    Yann.

    Hi,

Beoworld hosted once such diagrams and user manuals which one could access with a pay account (not for free), which I have used in the past to download the manuals regarding my 6500 system. I did not find the current download page at Beoworld for this but only :

    https://beoworld.org/wiring-diagrams/

    https://beoworld.org/beotech/reference-manuals-beotech/

The later one should be theoretically the right place, but I see only a few links.
Did you ask the site administrator directly?

Thank you all for your replies, much appreciated!

Thanks for putting the manual up Multicare, It’s a much better copy than the one I found but it still doesn’t have all the pages, I’ve come now to realise with model number changes B&O only issue the pages that have changed. The 7000 is in some respects an upgrade to the 6500 so for the power supply circuit for the 7000 you need to look at the 6500, that’s my best understanding at the moment.

    Anyhow back to the 7000.

The 12v rail is at 39v and the -12v rail is at -30v. C5 on the AM RF amp board blew up and I wonder what else has been killed. PCB2 is darkish brown in the area of R34 and D7 & D8 are corroded.

A drawing of PCB 2 would be useful.
