SILVER MemberHello fellow owners of a Beosound Shape.
I have a general question regarding the temperatures that normally occur in the amplifier.
In the B&O app under settings>configuration>sound>shape info, you can read the temperatures of the amplifier, with me approximately at easy listening music at level 35 for the PSU 52-AMP 55-DSP 48 degrees and sometimes much higher. ย I wonder what the normal temperatures are in your Shape as a reference, because I have the idea that my Amplifier gets very warm and I would check of that is normal overal.
I would be happy to get some values back from you so I can compare this to mine.
Many thanks in advance
LEHE
PS: Today, due the reactions, I also asked the question by email to the B&O service group in Denmark.
Update 12-06-2025 Today I received a message from B&O Denmark ย The normal operating temperatuur for the AMP is between 55-65 Degrees. At a temperature of 90 Degrees the Amplifier is internally switched back to a lower output power to protect the unit. Case is closed for me because my temperatures are then normal.
