    Hi

I have a Beovision 11-55 with 3 hdmi inputs connected – sky Q, fire stick & Apple TV. Whilst watch sky this evening the display just stopped displaying the input device.

I could see the screen was still backlit, so not a screen issue. Sky Q was still powered on and hadn’t crashed. I checked the other 2 inputs, and no display from them either.

I put the TV onto smart TV mode and the apps menu appeared. So defo not the screen having a problem. The issue seems to span all hdmi inputs only.

I’ve switched the TV off (full off at the socket) overnight and will check again in the am.

Meanwhile, any suggestions of what could have happened?

    Many thanks

    That’s a little interesting.

I had a similar issue last night, watching Sky Q – the screen went blank – I could however switch to Apple TV which still worked.
Reboot of Sky Q and started watching again, 10 mins later blank screen but apple TV still worked.

Reboot of Sky Q all seemed to be ok.

received a message from my parent who reported the same issue, Sky Q went to a blank screen twice.

I was watching on an LG OLED C1 with BeoSound Stage (only using arc) and my parent has some LCD thingy – Not B&O
Hopefully it was just a Sky glitch for us.

Interesting that all your HDMI’s stopped working.
Hopefully you are back up and running.

    Hi

Thanks for your message. It’s reassuring to know it wasn’t just my aging TV set. It is all working as normal again today. Fortunately the glitch occurred during the Eurovision, which saved me from having to sit through it. I think it was my TV’s way of protesting 😂
