Av7000 IR connectivity

Hi there

I’ve got an Av7000 which i am determined to make useful in some way, shape or form. I want to connect the tv to it. All 3 hdmi ports are in use. That leaves me with a USB port, an IR port and a set of rca in jacks. I bought an IR cable, it fits into the TV fine but not the Av7000. I was thinking trying a usb to rca splitter or an rca reverser box that reverses the ports from input to output. But I fancied the IR idea but I don’t find a cable anywhere for it that fits. Any suggestions?
