The “Lift” button on my beloved Beogram 1202 is stuck. The button with the text “Lift” is a thin disc, and mine was loose. When I was trying to glue it on, I probably used a little too much and unfortunately I pressed the button while trying to rotate it into position. And so the whole button and the push mechanism have become stuck. I’m able to rotate it, but that’s it. This is extremely bad, since the player was restored last year and was working so well. And it also blends well with my Tandberg TR 2080 receiver and Tandberg System 15 speakers.
Will it be possible to get this “Lift” disc loose again? I guess the only option is to open the player, and I have found the service manual. What about the glue, will it be possible to free that disc and do this again, in a proper way?
Cheers
