As the title says really, my Stage is turning on every night around 2.30 am, not exactly 2.30am but around that time.
I have checked all timers, I have tried every setting and turned off auto updates as thought it could be related to it searching for an update around this time.
I have updated all software, on the TV, the stage and the app.
I had some Sony Linkbud S headphones hooked up to the TV for listening late at night, as this is in our bedroom, so even more annoying when the thing turns on, and deleted them from the TV and thought it had sorted it, but after a couple of nights of peace it started doing it again.
If I unplug the hdmi it doesn’t happen. That can be repeated.
I have reset the stage but doesn’t help.
I saw on a couple of other posts saying the same but no conclusion.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
8 September 2024 at 12:43 #58956I have the same issues, but it’s not every night, it just happens every now and then. I have not been able to find any pattern, but truly annoying to come down in the morning to find the TV on…

Sometimes you can turn it off and it happens again an hour later too.
9 September 2024 at 14:36 #58962what happens does it happen, if you unplug (only) the Stage from the mains?
10 September 2024 at 02:49 #58970If the stage is disconnected, either hdmi or mains, it doesn’t happen.
2.30am and again at 3.30am.
It has to be a timer.
I have just checked the log to my Fritz! router to see if that is doing anything, but doesn’t seem to be.
I also have BT homehub discs only.
Fibre provider is zen.
Just mentioning in case network is waking it and someone has the same hardware.
10 September 2024 at 11:34 #58975I am having a similar problem with my stage. I will turn the TV off, stage will turn off then 5 min later the stage will turn everything back on. It doesn’t do it every time, it does it randomly but always around 5 min or so after turning everything off. Very bizarre.

Is a device Bluetooth connected to the stage?
Is the Stage set to automatically receive update?
11 September 2024 at 16:42 #59008No devices connected.
Updates turned off.
I have spoke with B&O and they are asking questions.
But looking round there are posts on avforums, AVS and elsewhere, so not individual issues.
It did it with my Sony XF9005 before as well, only a few times, but it did do it.
11 September 2024 at 16:45 #59009It’s going to be interesting to hear what they say in the end.
Please keep us posted.
15 September 2024 at 21:52 #59122I’ve had the random turning on event with my LG connected to a Stage. It has only happened 3-4 times in the 18 months we’ve had them, and doesn’t follow any pattern.
18 September 2024 at 12:00 #59174Thought it must be network related.
It was not network related. Well it could have been, but the sound bar needs a network connection really as does the TV.
I reset my router, gave the soundbar and TV it’s own ip range and wifi network and it still turned on.
So nothing other than the TV and Stage on a separate wifi network from everything else.
I reset the soundbar yet again and reset the TV after the lates update, this time leaving chromecast disabled on the soundbar set up and not installing any apps on the TV at all.
I have since added Youtube and Netflix and we have had a over a week without it turning on.This is back on the regular mesh network as well.
So must either be Chromecast or maybe sportify, deezer etc. on the Stage or an app on the TV that was waking up the Stage.
One thing I did notice, was the lights on the stage lit up brightly before the TV turned on, which makes me think it was the Stage waking up the TV, but who knows?
Nice to have a few nights uninterrupted sleep! haha
