My Beosystem 7000 has just come out of 6 months being laid up, due house renovation, and an issue has suddenly arisen with the Beolink 7000. Or possibly the Beomaster 7000?
The volume display is completely missing along with the wording “track.” The track number is displayed but not the wording “track nor volume.”
But when the unit is placed in it’s charger the time is displayed with no issues. I thought the little LED’s might have failed but not so.
I wonder if it could be an issue with the info not being transmitted correctly from the master 7000? I don’t have another to try it with.
Has anyone seen this before and can point me in a direction to get it sorted? Thanks.

I just noticed that when on it’s charger all the displays are correct. Until it is removed from the charger. Then the issues arrise.
So it looks like a power issue with the Beolink 7000?
29 August 2024 at 21:19 #58690I wonder if it needs a new battery – maybe simply does not have enough power for all the LEDs. Multicare seem to be able to fix most things – they are playing with a variety of my odd stuff and I suspect changing a battery and checking the power rails could be in order. Complex inside so unless confident, I would leave to them!

This must be the 4th time I have changed the battery on this BL7000 but all the previous occasions the unit went into “flashing” mode. Hence my reasoning that it was not the usual problem? We’ll see?

I think I will have to hand it over to my engineer?
