Hello,
Just received a new-to-me BV11 and am trying to find NetRadio. There is a Radio, but not NetRadio. Is it possible there is none?
Also, I am unable to check for software updates or download PUC codes from the internet. In the advanced Service Menu there is no entry under “B&O NETWORK DOMAIN” so could this be the problem? I can’t compare to my other BV11 because, as in my other post, I have to fix the mains suppression capacitors.
Thanks!
Gene
7 July 2024 at 13:15 #57289Net Radio on my BV11-46 Mk 4 stopped working about 3 years ago. I assume it ceased to be supported by B&O? It used to work well. Sadly all history now!
7 July 2024 at 14:42 #57292Hi,
NetRadio works/worked fine on two other BV11 MK1’s and on an Avant I have.
Still haven’t figured this out. Could it have been an option? Could it have been superceded by aerial/cable/satellite Radio?
The BV11 connecting to the internet but not B&O seems important (no PUC downloads or ability to check for updates).
Any ideas?
Thanks!
G.

Netradio works fine as always on my V1, which basicly has the same engine as the BV11’s.

7 July 2024 at 18:57 #57296Could it be a hardware issue then on the BV11’s?
8 July 2024 at 08:07 #57300I also can confirm that netradio work on my Beoplay V1 TV.
Two thoughts about ehat could be the issue:
1) If the software on the BV11 is to old it mitght need a manuel update vis USB to come up to date and be able to communicate with B&O servers.
2) I can’t remember if you can set the time and date on the TV, but if so be sure that it is correct. A Windows computer is not able to update if the time and date is wrong, so guees that also could apply for a TV.
Just some random thoughts. Hope it can help
8 July 2024 at 08:43 #57301Hi Madskp,
Thanks for the response.
Time is good 😀
I can’t seem to find is where to download the software updates or PUC tables.
In this first link, “Beovision 11 with Beo4
Guides, manuals & software” there are Getting Started, User Guides and Additional Information, but no software downloads:https://support.bang-olufsen.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041518852-Beovision-11-with-Beo4
In this second link, when I click on the gold box with “User guides and software updates
You can download the user guides for Beovision 11 and the Software Updater for Mac and PC right here” there is no link and nothing in the box does anything: https://support.bang-olufsen.com/hc/en-us/sections/360011761631-Beovision-11#Thoughts?
Thanks!
Gene
P.S. Can’t find where to download PUC tables either 😖
8 July 2024 at 12:10 #57304B&O stopped hosting the manuel software updates at one point. I am not sure if they were ever avsilable for the Internet connected TV’s.
The PUC tables are normally selected and downloaded when you setup your sources on the TV.
This thread mentions some of the same issues you have, but might not have a solution though
8 July 2024 at 12:11 #57305You might be able to get the software for manual update ifyou contact B&O support
8 July 2024 at 12:59 #57306Thanks again, Madskp!
My support request was reportedly escalated a couple of days ago, so waiting.
I remember seeing a page with PUC tables years ago (when the BV11 couldn’t find them). I can’t find that page which would give the possibility to update via USB.
If B&O stopped hosting, the software, who has it (besides potentially B&O support who did not give it to me when I initially said I had a problem updating)?

haven’t heard of that before. On the older TV’s without internet connectivity you could only get PUC codes by having a B&O technitian lading them into the TV. And on the connected TV’s you get a list when setup of a new source.

If they ever did host it for manuel updates (which I am not sure) it would be whoever downloaded it. I am not aware of any source who should be hosting B&O updates oficial or unofficial.
Looking at your starting post again I have a follow up question. When you do the network setup on the TV (wireless or by cable?) Can you see that the TV get an IP adress and DNS server IP adresses?
9 July 2024 at 09:11 #57315Yes, I have internet. Youtube seems to be the only thing which works…
9 July 2024 at 09:40 #57316I also have the BV11.
Strongly recommend to find other sources than the built in (Youtube through e.g an AppleTV) , since they are since long not supported.
However, if you have another B&O device (non Masterlink) you can “integrate” that with BV11, so that if you press RADIO on the BeoremoteOne you get the radio source from the integrated B&O device.
9 July 2024 at 11:10 #57318Thank you, Hiort!
Through the app, I can link internet radio, I also have an Edge and a NL/ML Converter so I have options. I also use a Firestick (which is one of the PUC codes I need). As I am writing this, I’m wondering if I can force an update through the app. Need to check later.
I like pressing one button on my Beo4 and being able to hear my netradio.
Still need to update software, get PUC codes, et cetera.
Still waiting for a response to my escalation 🤞
9 July 2024 at 11:31 #57319Can you see, which SW version your BV11 is running?
If you happen to have the Beotool app (I do not know if that is still available for download), you can get all sorts of information of your tv….as long as it is on your home network.
Here is an example from my V1
There have been no updates for that for several years.
Same goes for the BV11’s.
P.S.
I have set up my V1 to react to the Radio button for the built-in Netradio on my BEO4/navi. On the Beoremote/ir, that I also use inthat room, I have set one of the MyButtons for a specific radio station (and Speaker Group etc….). Would be possible on the BV11’s as well!

9 July 2024 at 18:21 #57323- Hi Millemissen,
Thanks!
I don’t have that app, but I can find the software version in the advanced service menu as well as the B&O app and it is: 1.0.8.36666
It woefully needs an update, but how?
Above I mentioned trying to force the update through the B&O app, and I found the menu to do it but I had no luck as in my screenshot–the app thinks it is up to date 🙄
Other thoughts?
Still waiting for a response to my escalated case.
G.
P.S. I need to figure out my BeoRemote One…I’ve had it for years but still use my Beo4 🙄

This is the latest version of the software.
Think you need to reach out to a dealer and have them push the update to you.
I had B&O (through my dealer) to do that when I got hold of a Beovision Eclipse with super old software.
However, in this case I do not recall that the BV11 got something special in the latest version, but its of course best to have latest version.
11 July 2024 at 10:11 #57345Thank you!
NetRadio and being able download PUC codes would be very useful. I’m sure there is more as my version is from 2015.
11 July 2024 at 10:16 #57346Response ftom B&O Support (after escalation to the trchnical department): “Thank you for your patience while waiting for a response from our technical department. We have received a reply from them and please allow us to continue to assist you with the best we can.
Kindly be informed that since the Amazon Firestick is not IR-controlled, it is not compatible with the B&O remote and PUC files.”
My question about a software update was ignored/overlooked, as was a question about other PUC codes, plus this answer is garbage as I use PUC codes to control Firesticks (via a Flirc) on three other Beovisions using my Beo4.
I waited (wasted) five days for this?
Anyone with suggestions about how to escalate my support escalation and resolve my issues? Updates/PUC codes via USB are an option but not if I can’t get the software!
Disgusted with B&O Support right now.
G.
11 July 2024 at 18:45 #57350I have a Fire stick Flirc combination controlled by a PUC with my Eclipse. B&O support will probably not understand this, my installers weren’t used to it but I said I had previously trained the Flirc to use a Sony control so they used a generic Sony PUC and it worked fine.
What PUC did you use on the other televisions?
