Hello Everyone, I am buying a second hand MMC4 needle and I cannot personally inspect it. What specifically do I need to check via photos about the state of the actual needle.

If there are no microscope photos (usb microscopes are cheap)  availlable, assume that a secondhand needle is worn/broken and needs retipping.

Buy a cheap mmc4 and have it retipped, then you are sure of a good quality needle or stylus/cantilever.

        Don’t ask me why I know this…
